Class IV Tow Receiver Hitch
With upto 7,000 lbs of towing capacity*, the Pathfinder doesn't shy away from copious loads. And with a class IV tow receiver hitch with 4-pin wiring for added security, your gear will never be anything less than perfectly secure.

Aluminum-Alloy Wheels
For a rugged, well-heeled appearance, Pathfinder features standard 16" 5-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels. And for better outdoor performance, offers 17" 6-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels on SE V6 and 18” 6-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels on LE V8.
Roof Rack
Every Pathfinder is equipped with a durable roof rack with built-in hand grips for easy loading, a lower radiator skid plate and mud guards. SE V6 and SE V8 models have two adjustable crossbars to help you carry skis, kayaks, snowboards, camping gear, or duffel bags. These models also come equipped with standard running boards to ensure that accessing your gear is easy and convenient. We also offer a full line of Genuine Nissan Accessories that are compatible with these racks to help secure your gear in place for the long weekend ahead.
LoadWarrior ™

Rear Hatch Glass
Every Pathfinder is equipped with UV- reducing solar glass and a power rear privacy glass to ensure the privacy and protection from the sun. And a new standard power-cinching rear liftgate allows the driver to open the rear hatch for easier loading.

Multiple Configurations
Fold part of the second and third rows plus the forward-folding front passenger seat – available on cloth-equipped models – and you can seat 4, and still have room for an 8-foot-long item. Fold the third row flat and you’ve got room for 5, and an expansive 49.2 cubic feet of cargo space.
Driver’s Memory System

Storage
In addition to the luxury that the seating configurations provide, Pathfinder has over 79 cubic feet of room and many convenient storage compartments, such as the centre console, dash storage and side-seat pocket for easy access to your daily necessities. Use the rear hatch window to load small luggage and shopping items into the back without opening the back door. Secure everything in place using the eight utility hooks in the floor, sidewalls, and ceiling of the cargo area. Or, to keep items out of sight, use the second row hidden storage box, or even the under-the-floor storage unit.
Easy Clean Cargo Area
After a week of fishing, there’s bound to be wet and dirty gear. (Loads of it.) Luckily, you have Pathfinder’s available Easy Clean cargo area. It’s durable and water-resistant, extending all the way to the second row when the third row is folded down. Now if only cleaning fish could be this easy.

Intelligent Key
Catch of the day. Pathfinder serves up ultimate convenience with available Intelligent Key*. As you approach, Pathfinder recognizes your Intelligent Key’s unique signal and allows you to tap a button on the door handle or liftgate to unlock them. Once inside, start your Pathfinder and drive away without ever needing to touch a key or remote. A clever multitasker, the Intelligent Key can also function as a traditional keyless entry system, with large, easy-to-use buttons mounted on the case.

Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System
Pathfinder’s available Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System teams up with your compatible phone. Make or receive calls with the touch of a button on the steering wheel. It’s wireless, voice-activated – it recognizes Spanish, English and French – and plays through the speaker system. You can program up to 40 numbers and record messages for yourself on the “memo pad” feature*.

4-wheel Limited Slip (ABLS)
4-wheel Limited Slip (ABLS) redirects power to the drive wheel(s) with better traction. When a loss of traction is detected in one or more drive wheels, braking force is applied to that wheel to help slow it down.

RearView Monitor
Thank your lucky stars and your RearView Monitor. Available on Pathfinder, it’s one more way to help you see what objects might be lurking right behind you. It’s activated when reverse is engaged*.
*The RearView Monitor is convenience, but is no substitute for proper backing procedures. Always turn and check that it is safe to do so before backing up. The RearView Monitor may not detect every object in front or behind you. Standard on SE V6 and LE V8.
Nissan Advanced Airbag System (AABS)
Nissan’s Advanced Airbag System (AABS) includes dual-stage supplemental front airbags* with seat belt sensors and an occupant-classification sensor. The inflation rate of these dual-stage airbags adjusts depending on crash severity and seat belt usage. If the front-passenger’s seat is empty, a sensor will deactivate the airbag.
*Airbags are only a supplemental restraint system; always wear your seat belt. Even with the occupant-classification sensor, rear-facing child restraints should not be placed in the front-passenger’s seat. Also, in addition to any other requirement of applicable law, all children 12 and under should ride in the rear seat properly secured in child restraints, booster seats, or seat belts according to their size. Airbags will only inflate in certain accidents; see your owner’s manual for more details. Inflated airbags shown for illustration purposes only. Actual airbags deflate after deployment.
Side-Curtain and Side-Impact Airbags
When the sensor detects an impending rollover, the system deploys the roof-mounted curtain supplemental airbags. These airbags remain inflated long enough to help provide all three rows of outboard occupants enhanced protection in the event of multiple rolls. Driver and front-passenger side-impact supplemental airbags are built into the front seats (not the door), so they move with you when you adjust the seat position*.

Zone Body Construction
This helps to absorb crash energy before it reaches the passenger zone. In addition, there are pipe-style steel side-door guard beams that are welded into every door to help protect passengers in a side impact.

Another Nissan first. U.S. NHTSA-certified ‘Child Passenger Safety’ technicians have dedicated over 1000 hours to checking over 4000 child seat installations in Nissans. The result: An industry first, The Snug Kids® Child Safety Seat Fit Guide. This guide lists child seats that fit the rear seats of Nissan vehicles, as well as offers invaluable tips on correct installation.
3-Point Seat Belts
Every seat is protected by a 3-point seat belt. Both front seats are equipped with pre-tensioners that automatically help tighten the belts when the front airbags deploy, as well as load limiters that give a little when too much force is put on the belt.
Active Head Restraints
By moving up and forward in the event of a rear-end collision, active head restraints help reduce whiplash-type injuries to the front-seat occupants.
Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)
Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)* is an integrated system designed to help you stay on your steered path. If your vehicle begins to oversteer (fishtail) or understeer (plow forward), VDC senses the change and reduces engine output and/or applies appropriate brake pressure to the specific wheels*.
*VDC cannot prevent accidents due to abrupt steering, carelessness, or dangerous driving techniques, or any other reason. Always drive safely.
Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD)
Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) compensates for additional weight in the rear, whether it’s a full house or a full tank of gas, by sending extra force to the rear brakes.
Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS)
During hard braking, the Anti-lock Braking System rapidly pumps the brakes to help prevent your wheels from locking, helping you steer your way safely around obstacles.
