Exterior
Exterior Design The exterior of the all-new Nissan Rogue looks aggressive right from the first glance. Long lines draw you in. A sculpted silhouette invites you to look longer, and longer. The design of the long wheelbase provides lots of interior space for legroom and cargo, plus deep front doors so you can step out in style.
Clear Lens Headlamps
From the front, you’ll see something different on Rogue. Clear lens halogen headlamps give Rogue a distinctive appearance.
Two Ways to be Your Accomplice
Step up to the Rogue 2.5 SL with sporty 17” 5-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels or on the 2.5 S 16” steel wheels, roof rails*, halogen headlights and colour keyed dual heated power outside mirrors and on the 2.5 SL rear privacy glass. Also, on the 2.5 SL model the available power sliding glass moonroof with one-touch open/close and tilt features.

Seating Configurations
Let’s start easy. Fold the right rear seatback forward. (Both rear seatbacks fold down, along a 60/40 split, so you have a choice. But for now, we’ll focus on the right side.) Or Fold both rear seatbacks forward, creating 1639 L (57.9 cu. ft.) of cargo space. For many, this is the ultimate. With both rear seatbacks down, fold the right front passenger seatback forward so you form a perfect storage area for long items. Load hockey sticks, a ladder, ironing board or, in this case, a new rug in the open space. Balance function with aesthetics.
Hidden Storage Compartments
The secret storage compartment under the floor in the trunk has two removable triangular partition nets, built-in tie-downs, and additional side storage bins. An available tray in the centre console lifts out to reveal another storage space.
Glove Compartment
With so many storage spaces and cubby-holes, you have to wonder how anyone could just store a pair of gloves. But if you have a phone, PDA, clicker/parking card – the basic electronic necessities – you’re in friendly and knowledgeable territory.
Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System
The advanced wireless technology seamlessly links up with your compatible* cell phone the moment you enter the vehicle. At the press of a button on the steering wheel, its voice- recognition technology allows you to make and receive phone calls through Rogue’s audio system and built-in microphone. There’s even a “memo pad” feature that lets you record messages for playback later.

Intelligent Key
Imagine all you could do with two free hands. Nissan did, and came up with a new kind of keyless remote so advanced we call it intelligent key. Just walk up to Rogue with intelligent Key in your pocket or briefcase, press a button and an amazing thing happens. The driver’s door unlocks. Go to the rear, press the button on the hatch and the hatch unlocks. Get inside and turn the ignition, and the engine starts. All without a key.
Bose® Audio System
Stay true to the music. Insist on Rogue’s available Bose audio system with eight custom-tuned speakers. Each one strategically placed to accommodate details like the specific contours of each seat and volume of legroom. The result? Concert-like sound so pure, you feel like you’re there.
The action starts up front with a 3.25” speaker in the top centre of the dash. Followed by a Twiddler™ on each side of the dash, a 6” x 9” speaker in each front door and a 6.5” speaker in the rear doors. The bass box takes its rightful place in the rear cargo area. Delivering deep rich notes that seem to come from everywhere at once.

2.5-litre Engine

By intuitively distributing power between the front and rear wheels, AWD provides enhanced cornering control and stability. Intuitive AWD automatically moves more power from the front to the rear wheels. Xtronic CVT™
Unlike usual transmissions – automatic or manual – Xtronic CVT™ (Continuously Variable Transmission) operates as a virtually “gearless” transmission, resulting in unbelievably smooth acceleration and maximum output. The thinking is simple, yet profound. Utilize a single, flexible belt between two variable-diameter pulleys and you create a system of nearly infinite ratios. Minus the gear hunting and shift-shock.
Smooth Drive
Just put the shifter in ‘Drive’ and go. Push down on the accelerator and Xtronic CVT™ maintains engine rpm by constantly adjusting the size of the pulleys – instead of shifting – so you’re always in the sweetest part of the power band. Ease up and Xtronic CVT™ holds the rpm amazingly low, for quiet cruising.
Paddle Shifters

Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)
Curvy roads are certainly exciting, and now, quite possibly, they’re more predictable. With Rogue’s standard Vehicle Dynamic Control, your steering and braking actions are continuously being monitored and compared to your actual path. So if your vehicle begins to oversteer (fishtail) or understeer (plow forward), VDC senses the change and can reduce engine output and/or apply appropriate brake pressure to specific wheels.
Traction Control System (TCS)
All the power in the world is useless if you can’t get any grip. So when Rogue’s standard Traction Control System senses a front wheel slip or spin, it responds by reducing throttle. Helping you feel more self-assured, no matter what the speed or road condition.
Brake Technologies
Nobody knows what lies around the next corner. But with Rogue’s advanced braking technologies, chances are you’ll be ready. ABS pumps the brakes in panic-braking situations, while you keep steering control. It also helps prevent your wheels from locking so you can better steer around unexpected obstacles. Brake Assist senses how hard you’re braking in an emergency and helps boost performance by applying maximum braking pressure. And Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), an advanced technology designed to send extra force to the rear brakes when the back seat is occupied.
Safety
Nissan Advanced Airbag System (AABS)
It includes dual-stage supplemental front airbags equipped with seat belt sensors and an occupant-classification sensor. These dual-stage airbags adjust their inflation rate, depending on the severity of impact and seat belt use. If the front-passenger seat is empty, a sensor actually deactivates that airbag. In addition, standard side-impact supplemental airbags are built into the front seat, so they move with you as you adjust the seat. Above, standard roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental airbags help protect front and rear outboard passengers.
*Airbags are only a supplemental restraint system; always wear your seat belt. Even with the occupant-classification sensor, rear-facing child restraints should not be placed in the front-passenger's seat. Also, in addition to any other requirement of applicable law, all children 12 and under should ride in the rear seat properly secured in child restraints, booster seats, or seat belts according to their size. Pre-tensioners
The front seat belts utilize pre-tensioners, to help tighten the belt when front airbags deploy. And if your body puts too much force on the belt, load limiters give a little bit to help protect you. What’s more, active head restraints help reduce the chance of whiplash-type injuries to front-seat passengers by moving up and forward during certain rear-end collisions.
Zone Body Construction
Zone Body construction incorporates a high-intensity cabin structure with crossmembers and reinforcements. Front and rear crumple zones help absorb impact energy before it reaches the passenger compartment.
Hood Buckling Creases
Hood buckling creases allow the hood to buckle at predetermined points, helping prevent it from intruding into the passenger compartment in certain frontal impacts.
High-strength Steel Side-Door Guard Beams High-strength steel side-door guard beams are welded into every door. These beams help protect you and your passengers in the event of side impacts.
Energy-absorbing Steering
Energy-absorbing steering column compresses during certain frontal impacts to help reduce the likelihood of injury.
